The first Bosch e-bikes with the Performance Line SX motor are starting to appear around.
This is the latest drive unit created by Bosch and presented in 2023 in Frankfurt.
This drive unit was designed for Light eMTB, eGravel bike and eUrban bike.

Features of the Bosch Performance Line SX motor

The new Bosch Performance Line SX motor is part of the Smart System line in the “Rim Magnet” version and can use the same components as its bigger brother CX, such as the practical Mini Remote control and the System Controller.
It stands out as the lightest motor ever designed by the company to date: in fact, it weighs only 2.0 kg. Furthermore, it can deliver a maximum torque of 55 Nm, an extraordinary force that allows you to tackle even the steepest climbs effortlessly. But its real surprise lies in its 600 Watts of peak power, almost double compared to many other motors mounted on the so-called “light e-Mtb” or “mid power”.

How to unlock Bosch SX Performance Line
