Best Tuning Software Shimano

Eplus Flash Home is the best tuning software for  Shimano EP801, EP600 and RS 60 Nm motors and want to optimize the performance of their electric bike in a simple, safe and completely reversible way.

In this article you will discover why this software is the best ally to unlock the speed of your e-bike, remaining compatible with the latest Shimano updates, without incurring tampering errors or compatibility problems.

What is Eplus Flash Home?

EPLUS Flash Home is a professional software that allows users to independently modify the maximum assistance speed of their Shimano e-bike motor. It is designed to be compatible with EP801, EP600 motors and the 60 Nm RS variant, offering a clear and intuitive interface, also designed for those without advanced technical skills.

Full compatibility with Shimano firmware

Many tuning tools have become obsolete due to frequent Shimano firmware updates. EPLUS regularly updates its software to ensure compatibility and reliable performance over time.
To check the latest version of the supported firmware, we recommend consulting the product page.

Speed Unlock: Autonomous and Reversible Modifications

One of the most appreciated features of EPLUS Flash Home is the full autonomy of the user in managing the tuning.

1. 32 or 45 km/h Modification – Total Freedom for the User

Those who choose the option to unlock the speed at 32 km/h or 45 km/h will be able to:

  • Perform the modification to the motor completely independently
  • Restore the original settings at any time
  • Manage everything comfortably from home, without having to send the bike or contact a technician

Furthermore, all modifications maintain the correct displayed data and can be activated or deactivated via the Shimano app, offering maximum flexibility depending on the use.

“Race” Modification: Optimized Power for the Most Demanding Users

For the most sporty and competitive cyclists, EPLUS also offers the “Race” version, which brings the assistance up to 45 km/h but with a power delivery curve optimized on all levels. The advantages:

  • Greater reactivity
  • Better climbing performance
  • Feeling of +10 Nm in terms of perceived power

Activation of the Race mode requires remote installation performed by a EPLUS technician. After purchase, you will receive all the instructions to make an appointment and complete the configuration in a simple, guided and totally safe way.

Technical Requirements

To install and use Flash Home you need:

  • SM-PCE2 (Shimano interface)
  • Windows 10 or higher
  • Active Internet connection
  • USB port

Display Compatibility and Technical Tips

If using the SC-EM800 display, unlocking the speed at 45 km/h will only make the main screen visible. For a complete display we recommend:

  • SC-EN500 display (without wireless)
  • Or display SC-EN600 with the SW-EN600-L command

Technical Support Included

The purchase of the software includes:

  • 1 year of free technical support
  • Software updates
  • Email support and remote sessions

After the first year, you can renew the support with an annual subscription of only € 39.00.

Why choose Eplus Flash Home?

Easy and autonomous tuning
Reversible changes at any time
Regular updates to ensure compatibility

Eplus also has Flash Home versions for other Shimano motors and solutions dedicated to partner dealers

The problem with 45 km/h is that the overrun function will not work. In the Etube app, this setting will also disappear. With 32 km/h everything works as the original software. I have version 4.2.2

      Good morning,
Unfortunately this is not possible with our Flash software, as we only modify the speed curve.

Hi ep801 + new shimano xt di2 (connected to a bike battery.) Will the free shift still function with eplus? Is it possible to do 32km/h and race (30% increased power output curve) and still remain the assist carry over?

      Good morning,
It is possible to unlock the ebike via Flash software, but the Race version is only available at a speed of 45 km/h.
